Below are some items to consider when you are starting your web development.

  • Team Members --

A web development team would normally consist of the most of people identified below.
    • Designer
    • Writer/Content
    • Graphic Artist
    • Editor
    • Testers
    • Webmaster

Individuals may assume several different rolls but the testers, editor should not be the same as one of the designers, writers, or builders.  All of the team members need to have excellent organizational skill, a strong background with various software packages (especially MS Word for our enviroment), ability to think "out of the box", and creativity.

  • Start to visualize it  --

Identify useful and meaningful content that will support the objective for your page.

Grouping your content. Start thinking how you would organize the identified content.

The important thing here is to brainstorm with a group of people! Don't get bogged down in exactly how it will work. Start formulizing your layout without identifying each little link, bookmark, and graphic. Think big picture!

It is possible to create secured areas on your web site. These secured areas, allow you to identify who may access particular pages.
